Flood Hits Dubai Airport; Several Inbound Flights Impacted

Heavy Rainfall Causes Disruptions Across the City

Dubai International Airport (DXB) has seen a disruption of 13 inbound flights due to heavy rainfall that has caused flooding and blocked streets.

Many areas of Dubai have experienced road closures and traffic congestion as a result of the rainfall, which has left roads waterlogged and flooded. The flooding has also trapped cars in some areas.

The heavy rainfall is part of a larger weather system that has brought rain to several areas of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Residents in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah have woken up to flooding and blocked streets. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued weather warnings and advised residents to exercise caution.
